CORNINGWORKS presents
THE GLUE FACTORY PROJECTS
dancetheater productions created on internationally & nationally renowned performers over the age of 40
part installation & performance
HAPPILY EVER AFTER
part fairytale & nightmare
MARCH 23 – 27, 2022
THE SPACE UPSTAIRS
214 N. Lexington Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15208
In 1996, in the aftermath of OJ Simpson’s “not guilty” verdict, Corning created a critically acclaimed dancetheater work entitled “LEGAL INNOCENCE” —
Now, 26 years later, despite the #METOO movement & newly elected female political figures, the world STILL hasn’t adequately addressed the ongoing domestic abuse of women nor the regulating of women to second class citizens.
Corning now re-imagines this full-evening multi-disciplinary production for THE GLUE FACTORY PROJECT’s more “seasoned” artists, with a keener, more mature & urgent perspective from all the intervening years — NOT looking back, but struggling to move forward.
